Overnight Maintenance Technician – Pay range $19-24 per hour Location: Suffolk, VASchedule: Monday–Thursday, Day-shift training (5:45 AM – 6:30 PM) before switching to PM scheduleOvertime: Regularly available (8–10 hrs/week)Dress Code: Jeans, T-shirt, closed-toe shoesAbout the RoleWe’re seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support daily operations at a busy manufacturing facility. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and building systems and production machines. Ideal for someone who is reliable, safety-minded, and comfortable working with manufacturing equipment.What You’ll DoReceive and complete work orders for maintenance and repair needsPerform preventative maintenance on machinery and facility equipmentTroubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, plumbing, and HVAC systemsAssist with installation, setup, and maintenance of production equipmentSupport welding and metal fabrication tasks as neededMaintain accurate documentation for work orders, labor, and materialsFollow all safety protocols, codes, and compliance requirementsOperate forklifts and boom lifts (if certified)Keep equipment, work areas, and tools clean, safe, and organizedParticipate in weekly maintenance/management meetingsBe available for on-call rotationPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAble to stand for 8+ hoursComfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditionsWhat We’re Looking ForExperience working on manufacturing equipment (required per client)Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experienceAbility to read, follow, and complete work ordersStrong communication skillsReliable, dependable, and coachableUnderstanding of GMP, HACCP, or SQF standards is a plusForklift experience is a plus (certification preferred but not required)IND34
