divh2Full-Time Maintenance Technician/h2pAt Courtyard/TownePlace Suites Suffolk Chesapeake, we are looking for a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our repair and maintenance team/ppThe ultimate mission of the hospitality Maintenance team will be to ensure our guests satisfaction by exceeding their expectations. The position is primarily responsible for maintaining the building, grounds, and mechanical equipment with particular attention towards safety and security. In addition, the role is accountable for performing maintenance tasks daily that are critical to providing an exceptional stay to each guest./ppPotential Career Paths:/ppEngineering Supervisor - Chief Engineer - Director of Engineering - Area Chief Engineer - Regional Director of Engineering - Corporate Director of Engineering - VP of Engineering/ppKey Duties Responsibilities:/pulliMaintain timelines and work schedule in accordance with the preventive maintenance program/liliCheck work orders and night report for any assignment to be completed/liliPerform Preventive Maintenance work orders. For example:/liliMonitor and maintain all laundry and kitchen equipment/liliMaintain guestrooms using rooms preventive maintenance program/liliChange air-conditioning filters per the maintenance program/liliCheck HVAC equipment: change filters, belts, bearings and lubricate as necessary. Also check for unusual noise or vibration, and adjust as necessary/liliChange or repair locks as needed/liliPerform general maintenance to guestrooms and public areas/liliPerform guest requests as assigned/liliAssist in all phases of repair work/liliAssist other engineering personnel as instructed by supervisor/liliMaintain cleanliness and organization of the work area/liliMaintain the proper use, cleaning, maintenance, and storage of all tools. Handle chemicals for designated uses/surfaces/liliEnsure security of any assigned keys/liliAll other duties as assigned/li/ulpEducation and Experience:/pulliClean and professional appearance/liliAbility to communicate clearly (Speaking and writing)/liliAbility to utilize basic technology including a smartphone and a computer/liliExperience in maintenance or building trades preferred/li/ulpCrestline Hotels Resorts is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Affirmative Action Employer.
