We're looking for an entrepreneurial Trade Planning Lead to help us elevate our digital presence and drive exceptional results.As an Omnichannel Trade Planning Lead, you will be the business expert for General Mills at Walmart and Sam's Club, focusing on one of our key Operating Units (Cereal or Snacks). You'll be instrumental in shaping and executing our e-commerce strategy, collaborating closely with Sales teams, Walmart's Digital Acceleration Team, and various cross-functional partners (Customer Marketing, Shopper Insights, Brand Experience, etc.). Your insights and leadership will be critical in driving omnichannel growth for General Mills.What You'll DoBe the E-commerce Expert: Develop a deep understanding of the Walmart and Sam's Club e-commerce landscape, leveraging data and insights to identify opportunities and drive growth.Strategic Planning: Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and execute multi-year omnichannel strategic growth plans.Data-Driven Insights: Utilize customer performance data and analytics (including Scintilla/Luminate, Nielsen, and Walmart Connect) to generate actionable insights and recommendations.Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key contacts at Walmart, including the Walmart Digital Acceleration Team.Omnichannel Execution: Develop and manage an integrated omnichannel approach to planning and execution, ensuring a seamless customer experience.Problem Solving: Leverage e-commerce capabilities and problem-solving tools to address business challenges and drive continuous improvement.Internal Consultant: Act as an internal consultant, sharing your expertise and insights to help integrate the brick and mortar team with the e-commerce team.What You'll BringE-commerce Acumen: A strong understanding of e-commerce principles and best practices, ideally with experience related to Walmart or other major online retailers.Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.Communication & Influence: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Collaboration: A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.Self-Starter: A proactive and results-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Walmart Connect Experience: Experience with Walmart Connect (Walmart's media agency) is a plus.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree 2+ years of relevant industry experience in sales, account management, trade funding, category management or other relevant experienceSuccessful demonstration of analytical skills using various data sources (e.g. Luminate, Nielsen, IRI, CPM, sales data)Must be proficient in software packages (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint) Preferred QualificationsStrong decision-making and negotiation skillsExperience working in matrixed/cross-functional organizationsOur people are at the heart of what makes General Mills great – it’s why people join and stay. The expectation for this role will be to work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays each week. Our policy allows flexibility for the reality of business and personal schedules. Salary Range The salary range for this position is $81000.00 - $121700.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
