You'll dive deep into data from various sources - including our search agency, Walmart Connect, Scintilla, and Nielsen - to uncover actionable insights that optimize our online presence and maximize return on ad spend (ROAS). This isn't your typical trade planning role. You'll be focused on media measurement, analyzing the effectiveness of our search strategies, content, and overall digital shelf presence. You'll work closely with our Customer Marketing and Predictive Analytics teams to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives that inform internal stakeholders and drive strategic decisions. This is an opportunity to help evolve and grow our business by shaping the future of our digital media strategy. What You'll Do: Be the Storyteller: Transform raw data into compelling stories that explain our digital media performance at Walmart and Sam's Club, highlighting key trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Unpack the Data: Work with data from our search agency, Walmart Connect, Scintilla, and Nielsen to understand the performance of our search strategy, identify optimization opportunities, and improve ROAS. Drive Strategic Decisions: Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance our overall digital shelf presence. Collaborate & Influence: Partner with the Customer Marketing team, E-Commerce Capabilities team, Walmart Predictive Analytics team and cross-functional stakeholders to drive visibility to online performance narratives. Digital Performance Analytics: Analyze and report on Walmart & Sam's digital performance across the full e-Commerce toolkit (Search, Content, Assortment, Navigation, Ratings & Reviews, and Media). Strategic Leadership: Influence Walmart and Sam's digital priorities by connecting business needs with measurable outcomes. Shape long-term omnichannel strategies grounded in performance and predictive analytics. What You'll Bring: A passion for data, analytics, and storytelling A strong understanding of digital media metrics, including ROAS and ROI Experience working with digital advertising platforms and analytics tools Excellent communication and presentation skills The ability to translate complex data into actionable insights A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree 2+ years of relevant experience using analytical skills with various data sources to provide storytelling and use data to drive business decisions (e.g. Scintilla, Nielsen, IRI, CPM, sales data) Must be proficient in software packages (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint) & internal systems Preferred Qualifications: Strong decision-making and negotiation skills Experience working in matrixed/cross-functional organizations Experience with Walmart Connect Our people are at the heart of what makes General Mills great - it's why people join and stay.
