Summary

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and working closely with Sr HR Generalist and/or senior-level management in a supporting role for all designated geographic regions. The Human Resources Generalist collaborates closely with the Senior HR Generalist and/or Senior Management to provide professional-level HR support.

Essential Job Functions

  • Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers, ensuring alignment with company values and policies
  • Conduct new hire orientations and support onboarding processes
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and Senior HR Leadership to support site-level HR needs
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Recruitment, and Learning & Development) to deliver seamless HR services
  • Act as a liaison between employees and HR leadership in the absence of senior HR team members
  • Provide guidance to employees on company policies, procedures, and HR-related inquiries
  • Process employee changes, including internal transfers, promotions, and demotions
  • Coordinate and support employee engagement initiatives and events
  • Assist with responsibilities of the HR Operations I & II roles, as needed
  • Prepare HRIS-based reports related to payroll, demographics, and other employee data
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across HR systems; conduct audits and troubleshoot discrepancies
  • Recommend and support business process improvements, particularly those related to HRIS functionality
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or related field preferred; equivalent experience in a similar business environment will be considered
  • 2–5 years of progressive HR experience with a demonstrated track record of career growth
  • Strong ability to generate and interpret HR metrics and analyze workforce data
  • Solid knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace preferred

  • Primary responsibilities involve regular speaking, listening, standing, walking, using hands to handle or feel objects, and reaching with arms.
  • Occasionally, the role may require sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Employees must be able to frequently lift and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds.
  • Vision requirements include the ability to focus at close and long distances, distinguish colors, maintain peripheral awareness, perceive depth, and make precise focus adjustments.

Base Salary $55,000—$65,000 USD
