Job DescriptionThe Safety Manager will develop, coordinate, and implement occupational health policies and procedures to promote and ensure effective safety operations in the organization. In addition, the Safety Manager role will be responsible for providing proactive leadership and expertise that promotes our safety culture.Responsibilities:Manage and maintain OSHA reporting and compliance documentationOversee customer-specific safety requirements, reporting, training, and safety agreementsMaintain and update the company Safety Manual; facilitate related employee trainingLead and enhance Safety Training programs in collaboration with the Brabazon Service teamPrepare, schedule, and conduct training on emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other key topicsServe as SDS (Safety Data Sheet) AdministratorManage near-miss, incident reporting, and worker’s compensation processesCoordinate Post-Offer Functional TestingConduct and review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)Oversee PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) programs and equipment inspectionsManage safety compliance for subcontractorsAdminister and deliver training on the company’s driver safety programProactively identify, recommend, and implement improvements to health and safety procedures and training across the organizationMonitor company-wide compliance with established safety procedures and regulationsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Safety Management, Industrial Risk Management, or equivalentMinimum 3-5 years of experience in safety or similar roleExtensive knowledge of company safety & environmental regulations and policies, as well as applicableOccupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and have a clean driving recordHigh-level analytical, problem-solving & organizational skills, as well as attention to detailProficient in Microsoft OfficeAbility to train and motivate others to champion health and safety successBe self-motivated and possess excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.Can easily work both independently and as a team player with internal and external parties.An ability to effectively communicate and understand the needs of others, both in writing and verbally, with people of various educational and technical backgrounds, both inside and outside the company.Additional InformationTravel Requirements:15-20% local travel (within Wisconsin)15-20% overnight travel (Illinois, eastern Missouri, eastern Minnesota)Brabazon offers a full benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, along with Short and Long Term Disability, Life Insurance and a 401(k) program with company match.
