Safety CoordinatorBelGioioso Cheese, Inc., North America's leading producer of award-winning specialty Italian cheeses, is seeking a Safety Coordinator to join our growing company. The individual in this role will be responsible for:Lead the Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) Program: This includes working closely with project teams, maintenance, and plant managers to proactively review new equipment and upgrades, delivering annual training, and auditing procedures and manuals to keep our LOTO program accurate and effective.Support all areas of the Safety Department: This position will initially be responsible to schedule and coordinate trainings. This requires someone who can comfortably shift between tasks, stay organized, and communicate effectively with employees at every level of our company. As our company continues to grow, the opportunities for the individual in this role to expand their career will grow as well.Assist with Workers' Compensation processes: Partnering with Human Resources and our Workers' Compensation Claim Administrator to report, manage, and follow up on claims.In exchange for your qualifications and internal drive, BelGioioso offers a highly dynamic, fast-paced and rewarding work environment for the dedicated individual. Candidates with an Associate's degree in a safety related field and experience in the food manufacturing industry will be given special consideration. OSHA 10/30-Hour General Industry training is a plus.
