Follow Zones, LLC on Twitter @Zones, and LinkedIn and Facebook.  Position Overview:   The Senior Accountant position plays a pivotal role not only within the Zones Accounting team but also as a key, collaborative partner with sales and operations.  As the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting responsibilities including timely and accurate recording of business activity in accordance with GAAP, prepare month-end/quarter-end journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, financial analysis, audit support and financial reporting. Identify and implement process improvements that increase accuracy and efficiency. Identify trends or issues that require management’s attention; demonstrate ability to understand broad business and financial issues. Concise communication skills are key – written and verbal.  This role is required to be onsite at the HQ1 a minimum of Tuesday and Thursday each week, with additional time onsite as required.   What you’ll do as the Senior Accountant: The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
