If you're a numbers-savvy professional with a passion for precision and a drive for excellence, this role is for you As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining financial stability and contributing to the strategic growth of our client's operations. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting Excellence: Utilize your expertise in financial reporting standards to prepare accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Cost Analysis Mastery: Dive deep into cost structures, conducting detailed analyses to identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements within the manufacturing process. Strategic Planning Support: Collaborate closely with senior management to provide valuable insights and financial expertise for strategic decision-making, including budgeting, forecasting, and investment evaluations. Internal Controls Enhancement: Take the lead in strengthening internal control procedures, implementing best practices to safeguard assets and mitigate risks in the manufacturing environment. Inventory Management Oversight: Oversee inventory accounting processes, ensuring accurate valuation and reconciliation of inventory levels to support efficient production operation. Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams including Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales to align financial objectives with operational goals and drive overall business success. Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and automation, driving efficiency gains and streamlining financial processes within the manufacturing setting. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred. 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting roles, with a strong emphasis on manufacturing accounting and cost analysis. In-depth knowledge of GAAP and experience with financial reporting requirements for manufacturing organizations. Proficiency in ERP systems, with experience in implementing and optimizing accounting modules within a manufacturing environment. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail, coupled with the ability to think strategically and provide actionable insights. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
