The corporate headquarters and main sort facility is located in St. Cloud, MN. We currently employ over 1,800 employees company wide and over the years we have expanded throughout the Midwest.Job SummaryThe Customer Service Representative will receive, investigate, and respond to all customer inquiries regarding shipments, service, and concerns.Hours and WagesMonday-Friday, 9:00AM-6:00PM$18.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experienceDuties and ResponsibilitiesConfer with customers via telephone or email in order to trace packages and arrange deliveriesObtain details of customer complaints or complimentsContact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustmentsAct as a liaison between customers and drivers to resolve delivery issuesCommunicate with the claims department and branch managers to resolve discrepanciesRetrieve manifests and other shipper information to aid the process of tracing shipmentsDocument and record mis-deliveries, follow-ups, and alternate delivery addressesPerform other related duties as assignedSkills and AbilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detail and accuracyKnowledge of basic computer skillsProfessional telephone etiquette and good listening skillsEducation and ExperienceAt least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredCustomer service, administrative, or clerical experience preferredPhysical RequirementsProlonged periods sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and answering the phoneMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at timesBenefitsHealth Insurance, Dental Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO), Employee Assistance Program, 401(k) Plan, Quarterly Bonuses, and more.EEO and Affirmative Action StatementSpee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
