If this excites you, wed love to have you join us. About the Role As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of prescription orders to patients. Your responsibilities will include: Check prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and physician instructionsIdentify and resolve prescribing, formulary, and therapeutic issues, collaborating proactively with healthcare providers to recommend formulary substitutions when deemed appropriateCollaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomesProvide prospective drug utilization review (DUR) to maintain high quality assurance practicesDeliver excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and medication-related questions Meet pharmacy services service levels agreements (SLAs) and accuracy/quality targets Requirements Our team prides itself on providing a world-class customer experience by ensuring the operational needs of the business are met. Valid New York pharmacist license in good standing requiredYou have 1-2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience, retail pharmacy setting is preferredAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentDetail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilitiesYou have a strong passion for helping people and delivering exceptional patient care outcomes and can work flexible pharmacy hours including late nights, weekends, and holidays if neededYou are available to work within the followinghours: - An overnight pharmacist shift on a SET schedule of Sunday 7:30PM to 5:30AM, Monday to Wednesday 6PM to 4:00AMOR- A daytime pharmacist on a ROTATING schedule of four 10-hour weekly shifts, including weekend coverage every 3 weeks. - Shift times vary weekly, and are staffed from 6am to 4pm, 8am to 6pm, 9am to 7pm, 10am to 8pm, and 11am to 9pm.
