As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a financial institution setting, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed, driving post where you will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhy Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.What You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or potential threats.Work closely with site management and law enforcement as needed, documenting and reporting all incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.Remain alert and observant during all patrols and while stationed at designated posts, providing a visible security-related presence throughout the location.Assist in controlling access to restricted areas, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site procedures.Operate security-related equipment, such as radios and surveillance systems, in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.At least one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles is required.Must be at least 21 years of age.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
