Job Description A manufacturing in Jessup, Maryland seeks a qualified Accounts Payable Supervisor. Duties and Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable department, including supervising staff, managing workflows, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments Ensure that financial deadlines are met and that customer service is provided to all internal stakeholders Monitor accounts and ensure that any discrepancies are identified and resolved Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures Manage the budget and ensure optimal cost savings Prepare monthly and annual reports for management Participate in the preparation of the annual audit Requirements and Qualifications 5+ years of accounts payable experience preferred Proven experience supervising staff and managing processes Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Excellent analytical and communication skills Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office, NetSuite a plus Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
