As a Billing Platform Product Manager, you will be a key member of our triad of product managers in the billing team, each leading their independent teams yet working within an interconnected scope.As a Product Manager at Remote, you'll be developing and guiding our strategy for a key product area in Finance. You'll advance this vision by working with a cross-functional engineering and design group to find our most important problems and shape iterative solutions towards them.General requirements Prior experience as product manager, ideally in invoicing or similar at a high-growth company Great judgment making both strategic (what to prioritize) and tactical (feature scope) decisions Demonstrable, self-driven results that have moved a product in the right direction A passion for creating seamless and effective products, even when the challenges they address are complex and intricate. Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, including across different departments (e.g. business operations, sales, etc.) to ensure that were satisfying critical business requirements Proficient in English, both written and spoken. Bonus: Experience working in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Build solutions together with the rest of the team that solve for finance, billing and other financial services at Remote Own not just software implementation, but the end-to-end experience: Remote delivers value through services powered by both humans and softwareLead on complex solutions without requiring support or involvement from senior members of the product teamEffectively manage internal expectations for complex projects, products, and features while navigating challenging prioritization decisions Drive Remote in the right direction by building an effective roadmap and strategy for your area of the product in Finance Break down strategic plans into near and mid-term goals that's easy for others to understandAlign your product roadmap with higher level department and company problems were working to solve Ship improvements quickly and iteratively, challenging yourself and counterparts to find minimal solutions to problems Support and leads a product team delivering high throughput and high return on investmentAdvance key KPIs related to product team goalsWork together with engineers and designers to build intricate solutions to complex problems Communicate and collaborate internally and externally Communicate and evangelize the product, roadmap, and process changes inside and outside of RemoteLead by example on asynchronous workflows and transparency Practicals You'll report to: Group Product Manager Direct reports: none Team: Product, Fintech Location : We are open to hire anywhere. The base salary range for this full-time position is $45,000 to $138,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands.
