If you embrace a growth mindset and thrive on challenges, you may be a perfect fit for our team Position Summary: The Director of Business Development - Interventional directs, establishes, maintains, communicates and administers the overall policies and goals for the business development department. Responsible for the sales, growth and commercial elements of a Cirtec Medical segment. Develops and maintains strategic client relationships. Communicates performance to the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Directors. Build a team of sales managers to grow the segment. The Director of Business Development ensures sales budgets and growth numbers are met for the segment. Key Responsibilities: Own the corporate relationships between Cirtec Interventional segment and strategic customers. Report monthly sales performance and key growth strategies to the Head of Sales, Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Directors. Train the segment sales team on Cirtec messaging and target customers. Take ownership of segment sales performance, team incentives, training and hiring. Coordinate meetings, calls and communications with key clients to build solid relationships. Align internal Cirtec personnel, sites, and leadership to win new projects and execute successful projects. Consistently communicate with potential clients about the company’s new products and capabilities. Participate in industry conferences and seminars to network and continually increase knowledge about the industry. Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities. Communicate with key customers to develop an accurate annual forecast. Coordinate with the marketing team to develop advertising strategies that improve the company’s marketing position and exposure. Negotiate NDAs, development agreements and Supply Agreements with the support of the Cirtec legal department. Travel 20% - 50% for Customer trips, site tours, trade shows Must Have: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field. MBA or similar level of business acumen required. 10+ years of Proven business development or sales experience with medical device contract manufacturing and product development. Demonstrated success selling to major medical device OEMs, R&D engineering, medical device start-ups, Senior Procurement agents, and Senior leadership roles. Experience negotiating major medical device Manufacturing Supply Agreements, Design & Development Agreements, and complex service Quotations and proposals. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional leadership and management skills. Previous sales team leadership a plus. Effective communication and negotiation skills. Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English Strong business acumen. Detail-oriented and persuasive. Anticipated base salary range: Competitive market salary from $150,000 to $200,000 per year depending on qualifications and experience.
