We’re looking for motivated, engaged people to help make everyone’s journeys better.A Storeroom Clerk receives and checks incoming shipments, label products, FIFO, puts away products as per locations, fills requisitions, and counts products for accurate inventoryJob Summary:A Storeroom Clerk receives and checks incoming shipments, label products, FIFO, puts away products as per locations, fills requisitions, and counts products for accurate inventoryMain Duties and Responsibilities:Performs receiving duties for incoming inventory from vendorsInspects incoming product to quality standards and ensure freshness and shelf lifeMoves product (use moving equipment – forklift, pallet jack), stock, FIFO freezer, cold room and dry goodsMaintains inventory warehouse locations in a clean and organized mannerConducts inventory counts and count sheetsPull production requisitions (MRP or ER) as need itFollows directionsWorks as a member of a teamAdditional duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by managementQualificationsEducation:High School Diploma or GED preferredWork Experience:Up to one-year experience preferredTechnical Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration)Valid Driver's LicenseLanguage / Communication Skills:Must be able to read and write to complete required formsCommunicate effectively with supervisors and co-workersRequirements of the Job:Work assigned schedule which may vary and could include weekends and holidaysWorks overtime when requiredArrives to work on-timeMust comply with company policiesCompletes paperwork and related administrative dutiesHandles pork, poultry, meat and fish productsMust be able to handle liquor/alcoholic beveragesMust be able to use moving equipmentWork Environment Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noiseMust be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds frequently during shiftMay work in a cold room of 40 degrees or less for extended periods of timeRegularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hoursDemonstrated Values to be Successful in the PositionEmployees at gategroup are expected to live our Values of Excellence, Integrity, Passion and Accountability.
