Job Title: Vice President, National Restaurant Chains (VP NRC) Location: Sterling, VA (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-Time Domain: Food Production • CPG • National Restaurant Chain Partnerships Seniority: Executive Leadership (VP-Level) Position Overview The VP National Restaurant Chains will serve as a senior commercial leader responsible for driving revenue, strategic partnerships, and long-term business growth across major national restaurant accounts. This individual must bring strong industry relationships, proven sales leadership, and experience managing multi-million-dollar accounts within the food manufacturing, CPG, or restaurant chain sector. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Leadership • Develop and implement national account strategies aligned with company revenue goals. • Lead high-level growth initiatives, innovation planning, and competitive market positioning. 2. National Account Management • Manage executive-level relationships with top U.S. restaurant chains. • Oversee Joint Business Plans (JBPs), contract negotiations, pricing, and partner engagement. 3. Industry Connections • Must bring strong, established relationships within the national restaurant ecosystem. • Deep understanding of restaurant chain operations, cost structures, and growth cycles. 4. Team Leadership • Lead and mentor Directors, Account Managers, and cross-functional commercial staff. • Promote a culture of accountability, performance, and commercial excellence. 5. Revenue & Growth Management • Drive top-line revenue growth through strategic selling, assortment planning, and innovation. • Ensure strong execution of promotions, launches, and category expansion initiatives. 6. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Work closely with Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams. • Ensure seamless execution for client deliverables and national account programs. 7. Forecasting & Commercial Analytics • Oversee demand planning, forecasting, and sales performance analytics. • Provide data-backed insights for market penetration and expansion. 8. Market Insights & Innovation • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and evolving customer needs. • Recommend new products, packaging, and service models to deepen partnerships. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field; MBA preferred. • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in national account management or commercial sales. • Proven success managing national restaurant chain accounts or large-scale foodservice clients. • Strong industry relationships with decision-makers in national restaurant groups. • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and executive presentation skills. • Experience leading high-performing, revenue-driven teams. • Data-driven, analytical mindset with ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
