Project Engineer – Build Your Future with Walker White Mechanical

Are you eager to launch or advance your career in mechanical construction? Walker White Mechanical is looking for a Project Engineer who's ready to roll up their sleeves, dive into the field, and learn the ins and outs of the industry from the ground up. Whether you're a recent or upcoming college graduate or someone looking for a new challenge, this role offers a hands-on learning experience with a clear path to a Project Manager position in 2-3 years.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is ambitious, hands-on, and excited to spend 12-18 months in the field, gaining firsthand experience before transitioning into project management.

What You'll Do:
  • Work closely with project managers and field teams to support mechanical construction projects
  • Gain hands-on experience with job site operations, material procurement, and scheduling
  • Learn mechanical systems, project coordination, and problem-solving in a real-world environment
  • Develop leadership skills and industry knowledge to prepare for future growth
What We're Looking For:
  • A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to work in the field before transitioning into an office-based role
  • A degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is a plus, but all backgrounds are welcome to apply
  • A passion for mechanical construction and a desire to grow within the company
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
