You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business applications, optimize cloud performance, and drive automation across our infrastructure.
This is a Full Time, Remote Position.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure and scalable AWS cloud solutions, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and other AWS services.
- Manage and monitor cloud resources to ensure high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
- Automate cloud operations and deployments using CI/CD pipelines and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and implement best practices for cloud security, including IAM, VPC configurations, and data encryption.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, applications, and services.
- Collaborate with DevOps, software engineering, and security teams to align cloud solutions with business needs.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure design, configurations, and processes.
- Stay updated with the latest AWS services, tools, and trends, recommending improvements as appropriate.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- US Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain clearance at the Public Trust level or above. Active or prior clearance is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and solutions.
- Proficiency in designing and managing cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, including VPC, DNS, VPN, and load balancers.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Splunk, or Datadog.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred:
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and integrations.
- Understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA).
