Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with expertise in Amazon RDS and AWS TransferFamily. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, security, and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable cloud-based applications and services
  • Utilize cloud infrastructure to enhance performance and reliability
  • Implement security best practices to protect data and applications
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions
  • Optimize resource usage to improve cost-efficiency
  • Automate deployment processes to ensure smooth releases
  • Monitor cloud environment to detect and resolve issues quickly
  • Apply cloud-native technologies to modernize legacy systems
  • Stay informed about the latest cloud technologies and trends
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for cloud architecture
  • Provide expertise in cloud platform services and tooling
  • Adapt cloud solutions to meet evolving business requirements

Requirements

  • 5+ years industry experience in cloud engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • Experience with Amazon RDS and AWS TransferFamily
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices
  • Agile/SAFe experience
  • Past experience with Medicare/Medicaid (a plus)
  • AWS Cloud Certification (preferred)
