QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Must be able to take and follow direction.
  2. Must be able to provide management and direction to their employees within their assigned areas.
  3. Maintain acceptable body hygiene and appearance per employee Hand book and client location standards.
  4. Stand for extended periods of time.
  5. Physically able to lift, push, pull, bend, kneel, twist, and move rolling carts (up to 600+ lbs.) throughout the day, with ability to load linen above ones head and from ground level to standing upright.
  6. Physically able to collect and lift soiled bags throughout the facility.
  7. Pack at a speed to complete 20+ exchange carts per day.
  8. Distinguish between different linen items through touch and vision.
  9. Able to complete duties accurately.
  10. Must be able to read and write English.
  11. Must be able to accurately perform simple mathematics.
  12. Must be punctual.
  13. Must understand and observe all safety guidelines and recommendations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Adjust par levels, making needed adjustments to improve our measured performance.
  2. Rounding and monitoring linen levels and customer satisfaction
  3. Work with the CSR and Systems Linen Manager to establish Linen committees and Linen awareness days.
  4. Fill in for team members when needed
  5. Supply EVS Managers with information and ideas on how Vendor intends to improve utilization.
  6. Count and pack carts accurately with the needed quantities.
  7. Fill out paperwork accurately.
  8. Correctly use handheld device and upload information.
  9. Monitor productivity records, daily logs and shift schedules.
  10. Monitor trucking paperwork and delivery accuracies of scheduled and unscheduled orders.
  11. Inform Upper Management of any problematic situations related to operations.
  12. Ensure a safe working environment for employees
  13. Monitor employee performance, and identify and acknowledge outstanding employee performance.
  14. Maintain the established level of soil collection poundage to ensure proper load capacity on carts.
  15. Monitor staffing patterns and paperwork to ensure weekly targets are being met.
  16. Comply and adhere to the facility’s Infection Control Policies.
  17. Accomplish daily tasks at the time given by Management.
