Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts/Sales Manager to join our dynamic team in Carrollton, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new clients, managing existing accounts, and driving revenue growth by offering our specialized consulting and digital solutions.

Key Job Duties of an Account/Sales Manager:

1. Client Acquisition & Business Development:

  • Identify and target potential clients through market research, networking, and outreach.
  • Develop and execute strategies to onboard new clients by offering tailored consulting services.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline by attending industry events, leveraging referrals, and reaching out to prospects.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve revenue and growth targets.

2. Relationship Management & Client Retention:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and ensure their needs are met.
  • Build long-term, trust-based relationships with clients by understanding their business goals and challenges.
  • Regularly engage with clients to identify opportunities for additional services or consulting engagements.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns, resolving issues, and providing timely updates.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups and review meetings to maintain a healthy relationship.

3. Strategic Planning & Market Analysis:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market needs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with leadership to refine service offerings and develop value propositions tailored to client needs.
  • Identify new sectors or industries where consulting services can be expanded.

4. Proposal Development & Solution Selling:

  • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to understand service capabilities and craft customized solutions.
  • Lead the proposal development process, including writing RFPs, RFIs, and SOWs (Statements of Work).
  • Present solutions that highlight the consulting firm's expertise and ROI for the client.
  • Use consultative selling techniques to align the firm's services with client business objectives.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with internal teams (delivery, operations, marketing, and finance) to ensure seamless onboarding and project execution for new clients.
  • Ensure smooth handover from sales to delivery teams once a contract is signed.
  • Work with marketing to create promotional materials, case studies, and success stories to attract new clients.

6. Revenue Growth & Account Expansion:

  • Manage and grow existing client accounts by identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional services.
  • Track and achieve sales targets, including revenue, profitability, and account growth metrics.
  • Foster strategic partnerships with key accounts to create long-term value.
  • Identify potential joint ventures or partnerships that can enhance service offerings.

7. Reporting & Metrics:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and client interactions in CRM systems.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, revenue forecasts, and client feedback for senior management.
  • Analyze key metrics to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies and make data-driven decisions.

8. Contract Management & Compliance:

  • Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts, ensuring alignment with company policies.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations are met and documented.
  • Maintain compliance with client agreements and industry regulations.

9. Continuous Learning & Improvement:

  • Stay updated on consulting industry trends, competitor offerings, and best practices in sales and account management.
  • Continuously improve sales techniques and consulting knowledge to better serve clients.
  • Provide feedback to leadership on potential service enhancements or new market needs.
