Wacousta Cooperative Preschool (WCP) is seeking a passionate, experienced *GSRP Lead Teacher* to join our inclusive, child-centered learning community. Our program values joy, belonging, equity, and strong family partnerships. Plan and implement *GSRP-aligned, play-based curriculum* that supports whole-child development using C4L curriculum.
* Build strong, supportive relationships with children and families.
* Conduct ongoing child assessments and lead *twice-yearly conferences*.
* Collaborate with the assistant teacher and Director to create an inclusive, warm, and welcoming classroom environment.
* Uphold *NAEYC ethical standards* and the *Professional Standards and Competencies for ECE*.
* Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
*Michigan Teaching Certificate with *ZA*, *ZS*, *Birth–K*, or *PK–3 endorsement*, _OR_ a bachelor’s degree in *ECE or Child Development* with a major concentration in preschool education.
* *Strong understanding of child development, play-based learning, and inclusive teaching practices.
* Ability to build warm relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
* Current or eligible *MiRegistry* account.
*Fingerprint/background clearance*
* *First Aid/CPR/AED* + MiRegistry Health & Safety Training
