We provide a play-based environment that nurtures curiosity, independence, and social–emotional growth.*What You’ll Do** Plan and implement *GSRP-aligned, play-based curriculum* that supports whole-child development using C4L curriculum.* Build strong, supportive relationships with children and families.* Conduct ongoing child assessments and lead *twice-yearly conferences*.* Conduct home-visits *twice yearly*.* Maintain compliance with *LARA*, *GSRP*, *MiRegistry*, safety, health, and licensing rules.* Support *PBIS/Pyramid Model* practices to nurture positive classroom culture.* Collaborate with the assistant teacher and Director to create an inclusive, warm, and welcoming classroom environment.* Uphold *NAEYC ethical standards* and the *Professional Standards and Competencies for ECE*.* Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.*What We’re Looking For**Required:** Michigan Teaching Certificate with *ZA*, *ZS*, *Birth–K*, or *PK–3 endorsement*, _OR_ a bachelor’s degree in *ECE or Child Development* with a major concentration in preschool education.* *2+ years* experience in an early childhood classroom.* Strong understanding of child development, play-based learning, and inclusive teaching practices.* Ability to build warm relationships with children, families, and colleagues.* Current or eligible *MiRegistry*
