Position Overview:
DIGI America is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the company’s operational activities. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day operations, enhance efficiency, and drive strategic initiatives to support DIGI’s growth in the food retail and industrial equipment market. This role requires a results-driven individual with strong leadership skills and a proven ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Leadership:
    • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards.
    • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Service, Procurement, and Warehousing, to ensure seamless workflow.
  2. Team Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
    • Coordinate staff training and development programs to maintain high skill levels and morale.
  3. Project Management:
    • Plan and execute strategic initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
    • Manage and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated operational issues, driving swift and effective resolutions.
  4. Process Optimization:
    • Identify areas for improvement within operations and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency.
    • Leverage technology and data analytics to streamline workflows and improve decision-making.
    • Maintain a strong focus on continuous improvement, driving operational excellence across the organization.
  5. Vendor & Customer Relations:
    • Manage relationships with key vendors, ensuring alignment with company goals and service standards.
    • Act as a liaison between operations and customers, ensuring consistent communication and satisfaction.
  6. QA, Compliance & Reporting:
    • Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations and company policies.
    • Prepare detailed reports for senior management, outlining operational performance and recommending improvements.
  7. Sales Operations:
    • Develop and implement sales processes for Sales Team. Collaborate with other departments & upper management to identify business goals
    • Researching and analyzing data to create sales forecasts. Implement and manage CRM tools to maximize opportunities and customer relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in the food retail or industrial equipment industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and achieving measurable results.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and ERP systems is highly desirable.
