Job DescriptionJob Description

Master Framing is expanding, and we're looking for a Junior Lead Estimator to join our dynamic team This role is crucial for our growth, requiring a candidate who is knowledgeable about general construction practices and possesses strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the operations team to develop new projects with architects, designers, and clients.
  • Review and assist in signing off on estimates for submission to clients and design professionals.
  • Present proposals to clients and architects to secure business opportunities.
  • Work closely with operations to transition awarded bids to project managers.
  • Conduct property inspections to take measurements, document photos, and write detailed scopes of work.
  • Read and interpret construction plans and diagrams, bidding on various trades such as carpentry and roofing.
  • Analyze architectural drawings, create material take-offs, and obtain supplier quotes.
  • Provide comprehensive proposals and accurate bid packages in both verbal and written formats.
  • Maintain organized records of bids and proposals.
  • Stay self-motivated and organized in all tasks.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with general construction practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
