About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Retail Manager to lead our team at our Westfield Century City location. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented individual with a passion for retail, a keen eye for detail, and a proven ability to drive sales and cultivate a positive customer experience. This role is crucial in establishing and maintaining our brand presence within this prestigious retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Development:

    • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales associates, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

    • Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training needs, and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities.

    • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Sales & Customer Experience:

    • Drive sales performance by exceeding customer expectations and creating a welcoming and engaging shopping experience.

    • Implement strategies to maximize sales, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.

    • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

  • Operations Management:

    • Oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.

    • Ensure compliance with all Westfield Century City operational guidelines and regulations.

    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.

  • Brand Partnership & Product Knowledge:

    • Communicate with our various partner brands as their point of contact.

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our partner brands.

    • Stay informed about new products, brand stories, and current trends.

    • Effectively communicate product knowledge to the team and customers. The Team Leader will receive training on the stories, processes, and materials of each partner brand and must acquire this foundational knowledge before their first day.

  • Visual Merchandising & Inventory Control:

    • Implement visual merchandising strategies to create an appealing and impactful store display.

    • Manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock control and timely replenishment.

    • Conduct regular stock checks and minimize shrinkage.

  • Recruitment & Hiring:

    • Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for sales associates.

    • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations during the hiring process.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of proven experience in retail management, preferably in a fashion or lifestyle environment.

  • Bachelor degree (Can be substituted with 2+ years of retail experience)

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in POS systems and inventory management software.

  • Knowledge of visual merchandising strategies.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

  • Strong passion for connecting with people and delivering exceptional experiences

  • Ability to multitask effectively

  • Ability to safely climb a ladder and push, carry, or otherwise move up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to stand and move around the store for the duration of your shift
