Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s facility in Kissimmee, FL. This is a 13-week contract (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization 

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Medical Assistant for a primary care setting in Kissimmee, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience providing patient care, assisting physicians, and managing office tasks within a clinical environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Room patients according to policy and procedures and prepare them for examinations.

·         Record patient care documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

·         Coordinate patient care under the direction of physicians and adhere to company standards.

·         Maintain patient confidentiality and provide courteous, respectful care.

·         Organize and sterilize exam and treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary instruments are available.

·         Practice standard infection control precautions.

·         Screen patients via telephone and in-person for intake purposes without requiring clinical judgment.

 

Qualifications:

·         Medical Assistant Certification (Required)

·         High School Graduate or GED equivalent

·         1-2 years of customer service experience

·         Active BLS/BCLS Certification.

 

Additional Information:  

·         Location: Kissimmee, FL

·         Job Type: 13-week contract

·         Shifts: Regular Shift 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

·         Pay Range: $800-$900 Weekly

       

 

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
