Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mutual Fund Reporting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining various financial reports for mutual funds, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the preparation of key financial deliverables. You will work closely with the team to ensure accuracy and completeness in all reporting tasks, while also helping to resolve complex accounting issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage mutual fund shareholder annual and semi-annual reports.
  • Edit, update, and maintain key financial reporting schedules, including Fund Financial Statements, Schedule of Investments, and Tailored Shareholder Reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of other financial reporting deliverables, including SEC regulatory filings such as Form N-MFP, Form PF, Form CPO-PQR, and Form 24f-2, as well as information for mutual fund Prospectuses and Statements of Additional Information (SAI).
  • Research and resolve moderately complex issues related to financial reporting and accounting processes.
  • Provide support to the team in the preparation and delivery of all reporting and regulatory compliance materials.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive procedures for all financial reporting and accounting deliverables.
  • Ensure that all reporting requirements are met within deadlines and align with company standards.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, with a focus on financial reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex financial data.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle moderately complex accounting issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in mutual fund accounting or financial reporting is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance and to manage complex procedures.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Word; experience with Outlook is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to stakeholders.
