Job Description:
An Accounting Clerk is responsible for responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, and more.
Specific Job Duties:
- AR:
- Daily invoicing of shipments
- Collection calls and emails
- Customer payment processing
- AP:
- Daily invoicing entry with three-way matching
- Credit card charge entries
- Check run reports
- Customer Service:
- Answering inbound calls, and directing to appropriate departments
- Following up with customers and vendors with order/payment information
- Communicating with staff regarding updates and confirmations
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Accounting Certificate or Degree preferred
