A well-established steel company is looking to hire a Parts Sorter in the Lakeland, FL area. As a Parts Sorter you will be trained on how to operate machinery in the fabrication shop If you have a great attitude, strong work ethic, and are coachable, we want to hear from you This is a great opportunity to learn a new trade

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist machine operators in setting up and adjusting machines for optimal performance.
• Unload and move parts and materials throughout the production area.
• Sort and organize finished materials for quality control and efficient processing.
• Work closely with machine operators and other team members to support production goals.
• Be willing to work in various areas of the shop as required, adapting to changing needs.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and grow within the organization.

Who We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50lbs
• Positive attitude and energetic
• Previous machine fabrication shop experience preferred, but not required

What You Can Expect

• $18.00 /hour, based on experience
• Regular schedule of Monday – Friday, 4:30pm – 2:30am
• Training schedule Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm
