A well-established steel company is looking to hire a CNC Production Specialist in the Lakeland, FL area. In this role, you will primarily assist with operating and setting up various machines, handling parts, and ensuring smooth workflow within the shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn, grow, and contribute to the team's success in meeting production goals.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Operate and set up a variety of machines, including:
    • Angle Line
    • Brake Press
    • Beam Line
    • Plasma Cutter
    • EMI Machine
    • Saw
    • Laser Cutter
    • Part Sorter
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure that all materials meet safety and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate records of materials received and processed, reporting any discrepancies to supervisors
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
  • Utilizes a software called TEKLA
  • Performs weekly, monthly and annual routine maintenance on machinery
  • Achieves weekly goals for production
  • Reports daily to Machine Lead for consumables and tools needed



Who We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Prior experience operating machinery
  • Willingness to learn and become proficient in operating a variety of machines
  • Proficient in Apple IOS and Android OS platforms
  • Proficient in TEKLA EPM GO, preferred
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 50lbs
  • Positive attitude and energetic



What You Can Expect

  • $18.00 – $20.00/hour, based on experience
  • Regular schedule of Monday – Friday, 6:55am – 4:30pm
  • Potential Night Shift in future with schedule of Monday – Friday, 4:30pm – 2:30am
  • Life insurance, Disability, Supplemental insurance options, 401k Matching Plan
  • Vacation and Personal Days
