We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of products or services. The role involves translating complex technical details into benefits for clients and working closely with the sales team to close deals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Sales Support: Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education to clients, demonstrating how products or services can meet their needs.

  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct presentations and live demonstrations to showcase product features, capabilities, and benefits.

  • Solution Proposals: Work with sales teams to develop and propose solutions tailored to customer requirements, including cost, installation, and usage training.

  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the technical expert in sales scenarios.

  • Feedback Loop: Gather customer feedback on product performance and relay it to the product development team to influence future enhancements.

  • Project Management: Assist in managing technical aspects of sales projects from inception to completion, ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Technical Training: Train sales staff and customers in the use of products, ensuring they understand how to maximize product functionality.

  • Market Analysis: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions to better position our offerings.

 

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Graduate, 4 year Bachelors degree preferred. 

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 2-5 years in sales engineering, Payments/Point of Sale industry experience recommended. 

    • Proven track record in technical sales, with a strong understanding of the sales process from prospecting to closing.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Deep understanding of the company's products or services and the ability to articulate this to non-technical audiences.

    • Familiarity with relevant industry standards, technologies, and methodologies.
