Join our Team

We are seeking an Insurance Coordinator/Front Desk Associate  to join our team at our Growing General Family Dental Practice in Hickory  who can connect with our Team and our patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental office setting, possess knowledge of dental terminology, and be familiar with Dental insurance verification processes. Bring your friendly phone demeanor and Team Player attitude to our practice

We are high tech and paperless

Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel
- Schedule appointments and assist with patient check-ins
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims

-Keeps up with Insurance AR report

-Confirms appointments

- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of coding
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality

-Fills the Doctor schedules

Experience:

- Previous experience in a dental office environment is required
- Knowledge of dental terminology, Dental coding, and  records management is beneficial
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in office software applications

1) High School Diploma

3) Experience with Eaglesoft Software preferred.

4) Readily available professional references from previous employers and coworkers to affirm your ultimate integrity and ethical standards.

5) A team player and able to adapt to office policy improvements (office is constantly striving for improved customer care/service).

6) Conflict resolution experience. We like to get along, and we love our patients and our team. We are looking for someone who can spot a potential problem and resolve it  with your customer service skills before it becomes an issue.

7) Customer service and patient relations experience. Quick response/accurate date entry.

8) Experience and true understanding of what it means to ENGINEER the appointment book effectively.

9) Experience preparing and presenting financial option plans and present plan options to patients at the end of the appointment.

10) Accuracy, Honesty, Integrity, and DETAIL ORIENTED. MUST BE ABLE TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS and document well.

11) Experience collecting Insurance plan information (break downs) and doing AR report as well as setting up payment tables.

12)Takes notes and does not forget to follow through.
