Administrative Assistant

One of the Lowcountry’s most trusted and well-respected plumbing companies, known for exceptional service and dedication to the community is seeking a skilled and experienced Administrative Assistant to support their West Ashley branch in maintaining efficient daily operations.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant with prior dispatching experience to support our team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, exceptional multitasking abilities, and a passion for providing outstanding service in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with administrative and dispatch experience who is ready to contribute to the success of an industry-leading plumbing company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage daily administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, and handling customer inquiries.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments, service calls, and dispatch plumbers to job sites.
- Assist with order processing, inventory tracking, and managing job documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, both electronic and paper files.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and on-time project completion.
- Handle customer service issues and resolve scheduling conflicts with professionalism.
- Manage and update schedules in dispatching software or spreadsheets.
- Perform data entry and prepare reports as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as an Administrative Assistant, with a strong focus on dispatching.
- Candidates must be polished and professional in both presentation and demeanor
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working in a fast-paced office environment.
- Customer service-oriented with a proactive and positive attitude.
