PrideStaff Financial on behalf of a client is looking for an experienced Accountant Bookkeeper to provide financial reports to company owner. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in this role and will need little to no supervision. Please apply today

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the finance department to create/maintain and review financial records.
  • Generate financial reports
  • Generate financial forecasts and create budgets.
  • Prepare invoices, track/resolve payment issues
  • Prepare and execute monthly internal reporting (P&L, Sales, Balance Sheets, inventory, cash flow, forecasting) and external reporting (Excise Tax Report, Sales Tax).
  • Take the lead in the coordination of the accounts payable month closing process, handling accounting issues and answering accounting questions for business office personnel.
  • Reviewing, documenting, and resolving variances in monthly preliminary financial statements
  • Issue purchase orders as requested and reconcile them to the corresponding
    invoices.
  • Preparing various audit schedules as requested.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in an accounting-related field
  • Able to take charge and provide daily updates
  • Work independently with little to no supervision
  • 5+ Years of Experience in Accounting.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Possesses superior analytical skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and bookkeeping programs such as QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Suites

Must be able to submit to a background check and a drug screen
