Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Insurance Help Desk Representative. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing assistance and guidance related to insurance policies, technical assistance, and general inquiries. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses excellent communication skills, and is dedicated to delivering top-notch customer service.

Responsibilities:

· Assist policyholders with inquiries about portal login issues.

  • Respond to inbound calls, emails, and live chat inquiries from clients regarding insurance policies, coverage details, and claims.
  • Provide accurate and clear information to clients, addressing their concerns and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Assist clients in navigating online portals and self-service tools for policy management and claims submission.
  • Collaborate with other departments to escalate and resolve complex issues or inquiries.
  • Assist with broker-related calls on basic plan information.
  • Document and maintain detailed records of customer interactions, demographic changes, and transactions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, policy changes, and updates to effectively assist clients.
  • Assist with sending out forms needed for plan changes, payment changes, and claims submissions.

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service experience in the insurance industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging situations are key attributes.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and navigating online portals.
  • Bilingual
  • Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and claims processes is a plus.
  • Health & Life Insurance Licensed is a plus.
