Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking an Executive Chef with a passion for culinary arts and possesses great leadership skills to join our team You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and dedicate time to expanding our clientele base to establish the restaurant's brand and reputation.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day culinary operations
  • Manage production, preparation, and presentation of all food
  • Coordinate food and kitchenware orders from approved vendors
  • Check freshness and quality of ingredients
  • Assist in the development of menu items
  • Standardize recipes and plate presentations
  • Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests
  • Maintaining the kitchen and surrounding areas in conditions that meet the company standards and health code regulations
  • Performs personnel functions including interviewing, hiring, training, supervising, and disciplinary actions as necessary
  • Schedules and assigns work shifts

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-4+ years' experience in advanced culinary skills including food preparation, flavor pairings and other cooking best practices - Culinary degree preferred, however, experience will be taken into consideration
  • Knowledge of cost and labor systems
  • Possess consistent and stabile work experience and encompass the desire to operationally support the business as an individual contributor and a leader
  • Possess ServSafe certification
  • Passion for food and cooking techniques
  • Strong leadership qualities, including motivation and goal-setting
  • Experienced in training and leading team as well as production of large quantity of food; preparation and excellent knowledge of quality food operations
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Time management and organization
