Executive Chef

We are seeking an Executive Chef with a passion for culinary arts and possesses great leadership skills to join our team You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and dedicate time to expanding our clientele base to establish the restaurant's brand and reputation.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day culinary operations
- Manage production, preparation, and presentation of all food
- Coordinate food and kitchenware orders from approved vendors
- Check freshness and quality of ingredients
- Assist in the development of menu items
- Standardize recipes and plate presentations
- Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests
- Maintaining the kitchen and surrounding areas in conditions that meet the company standards and health code regulations
- Performs personnel functions including interviewing, hiring, training, supervising, and disciplinary actions as necessary
- Schedules and assigns work shifts
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-4+ years' experience in advanced culinary skills including food preparation, flavor pairings and other cooking best practices - Culinary degree preferred, however, experience will be taken into consideration
- Knowledge of cost and labor systems
- Possess consistent and stabile work experience and encompass the desire to operationally support the business as an individual contributor and a leader
- Possess ServSafe certification
- Passion for food and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership qualities, including motivation and goal-setting
- Experienced in training and leading team as well as production of large quantity of food; preparation and excellent knowledge of quality food operations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Time management and organization
