Role Description
This is a contract hybrid role for a URA Field Relocation Specialist. As a URA Field Relocation Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to facilitate and assist with relocation and moving cost estimates and services. The relocation assessment and services will include an analysis of the residential property and moving costs for the landowner of the property. The goal of the relocation/site assessment is to identify the estimates and costs for replacement housing and/or moving costs and to help conduct and complete the relocation segments of the land transaction. Relocation services and estimates should be conducted by a learned professional who is familiar with the Relocation Act and all processes and procedures for relocation.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act (URA)
- Experience in coordinating and executing relocation plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to empathize and provide support to individuals and families undergoing relocation
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and databases
- Relevant certifications or professional affiliations are a plus
