Job Purpose: The Lead Technical Clinical Consultant, Cardiology, shall be responsible for all aspects of the reporting design and build, configuration, workflow, measurement/data mapping for project and/or post go-live support cases for all cardiology modules in compliance with the company’s quality procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as a departmental and company authority resource for all aspects of cardiology reporting/system configurations for all cardiology modules.
  2. Participate effectively and actively in assigned implementation and post go-live support project team activities, as directed by the applicable Project and CV Clinical Support Managers.
  3. Consult with customers and project team members regarding existing and projected clinical workflows, Synapse Cardiology applications, best practices, and proper management of sensitive clinical data for all cardiology modules.
  4. Direct interaction with customers to identify applicable reporting/system specifications and provide consultation/support for all available cardiology modules.
  5. Configure, tailor, and deliver reporting application solutions for all available cardiology modules in the context of a commercial project implementation.
  6. Configure and validate clinical measurement/data import/export interfaces for all cardiology modules.
  7. Design, customization, and electronic delivery of technical clinical tools and supplements for all cardiology modules.
  8. Peer reference and subject matter expert for system configurations, overall client functions, integrations, and development of Synapse Cardiology product line.
  9. Peer reference and subject matter expert for report template design and data mapping aspects for all Synapse Cardiology implementation modules.
  10. Various forms of technical writing.
  11. Customer relations.
  12. Update the customer database with all activity on a timely basis and in conformance with company quality procedures for all cardiology modules.
  13. Compliance with respect to all applicable requirements of the company’s quality management system.
  14. All other functions and/or responsibilities that may be assigned by upper-level management.
  15. Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws, regulations, and standards.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 5 years minimum experience in related discipline is preferred.
  • Exposure to the medical field, particularly cardiology, is required.
  • Self-directed with excellent management skills.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, healthcare, computer science or registered nurse, sonographer, technologist, with at least two years of work experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • The ability to sit up 75-100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to use your hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time.
  • Close Vision: The ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less.

Travel:

  • Travel required (up to 25%), based on business need.
