Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Substance Use/Mental Health Clinical Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide leadership and guidance to our mental health professionals, ensuring the highest quality of care for our clients. The Clinical Lead will also be responsible for overseeing clinical operations, developing treatment plans, and providing direct clinical services.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  1. Provide clinical leadership and supervision to a team of mental health professionals, including interns, counselors, and social workers.
  2. Implement and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the highest standards of care.
  3. Implement and recommend evidence-based practices and treatment protocols for mental health and substance use services.
  4. Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
  5. Provide direct clinical services, including individual and group therapy, as needed. Services are for coverage only and do not carry an active caseload.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of clinical activities and outcomes.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment for clients.
  8. Lead and document weekly clinical staffing.
  9. Stay current with developments in the field of mental health and incorporate best practices into clinical operations.
  10. Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance the effectiveness of clinical services.
  11. Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and regulations related to mental health care.
  12. Provide training and mentorship to staff on clinical techniques, policies and procedures, and approaches.
  13. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  14. Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor the quality of mental health services and identify areas for improvement.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  1. Knowledge of mental health, co-occurring complications, and community health resources.
  2. Ability to network and collaborate with healthcare and social agencies.
  3. Competency in problem-solving, stress management, ethics, and team building.
  4. Knowledge of addictions treatment and 12 Steps.
  5. Familiarity with psychiatric disorders and emergency procedures.
  6. Compliance with Federal, State, and Municipal laws and regulations.
  7. Strong organizational and communication skills.

Education and Experience:

  1. Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
  2. Current licensure as a mental health professional in Florida (Psy, LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT).
  3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in providing mental health services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  4. Strong knowledge of mental health treatment modalities, evidence-based practices, and diagnostic criteria.
  5. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  7. Familiarity with Joint Commission standards and regulations preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
