Job Summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team in Bradenton, FL. This role offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive mental health services to patients with diverse needs. Key responsibilities include conducting outpatient psychiatric evaluations, providing ongoing medication management, and participating in the training experience of graduate students. Additional duties may include screening and assessing patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders, providing treatment using evidence-based methods, and systematically tracking treatment response and monitoring patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complications.

To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess a Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field. A clear, active, and unrestricted license (LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, or LPC) in the state of practice is also required. Previous professional experience in social work or clinical settings is highly valued.
