The Recruitment & Onboarding Manager will assist in fulfilling the role of directing and overseeing recruitment and onboarding of Physicians, APPs and therapists for HRPN and Horizons Mental Health.

Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Essential Functions:
  • Assists HRPN Recruitment & Onboarding Director with maintaining forward moving progress in the Recruitment and Onboarding department.
  • Assists with assessing the immediate and long-term need for Physicians, APPs and therapists and services for the hospital; assists with developing strategies for attracting a proper mix of healthcare practitioners to the area.
  • Assists in identifying targeted providers for potential hire.
  • Present physician opportunities with detail and clarity, providing information about HRHS and the hiring entity, compensation plan, benefits, and specific elements of the position.
  • Assists with development of job descriptions.
  • Assists with the development of promotional materials, such as virtual postings, paper materials, banners and posters to be used in recruitment.
  • Assists with maintaining a candidate tracking worksheet/database reflecting documentation of positions open, interviews scheduled, conversation had, offers made or not made, offers accepted or not accepted, reasons for offers declined, etc. Follows up with all candidates and referring parties in a timely manner.
  • Assists with tracking of department expenses.
  • Assists with candidate itineraries, agendas and site visits.
  • Follows-up and obtains feedback from interviewers and candidates after interview to determine interest on all parties' behalf.
  • Stays current on regional and national hiring trends and practices; researches competitors' activities to keep informed of changes impacting HRHS’s ability to hire and retain top talent. Provides input to improve provider-related processes.
  • Supports marketing team for providers in alignment with the strategic plan for that practice.
  • Assists coordination with Medical Staff Office and HRPN Practice Director on Credentialing and Privileging.
  • Schedules orientation and ensures orientation completion.
  • Assists with development of a streamlined onboarding process.
  • Introduces new provider to the pertinent parties in the Health System.
  • Ensure new providers understand and possess the proper medical documentation required for new hire assessments, are aware of their orientation schedule, and have completed all required onboarding tasks, new hire paperwork, and regulatory, policy & health compliance requirements to successfully meet their identified start date.
  • Contacts new hires after 30 and 60 days to determine satisfaction with the process and assess opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage the relocation assistance program and reimbursement process for all qualifying hires.
  • Track and maintain pre-employment and annual health requirements compliance.
  • Track and ensure providers maintain licensure and required certifications.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree
Experience: 1-2 years recruiting and or onboarding experience required; healthcare experience preferred.
