Role Summary
The People Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting day-to-day people operations, HR related projects as well as supporting organizational development activities such as new hire orientation, people communications, employee engagement, and employee development initiatives. This position will play a key role in supporting the broader people team, Intellivo’s team members, and will support a wide range of disciplines across HR.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a self-starter, collaborative, and passionate about creating a positive workplace culture while ensuring HR processes are effective and scalable.
Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle & Organizational Development- Oversee and improve first day onboarding, new hire orientation, and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience.
- Partner with the people team on internal people communications.
- Provide support for performance management processes and employee engagement initiatives.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating employee training and change management initiatives.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other related matters.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve employee concerns in a positive and timely manner.
- Support the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in audits and reporting requirements.
- Assist with updating employee records, ensuring data accuracy in HRIS systems.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline People Operations and improve the employee experience.
- Support HR projects such as system upgrades, process efficiencies, and organizational development initiatives.

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in HR operations, HR administration, or a related role.
Skills:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Skilled in managing projects, timelines and deliverables.
- Ability to analyze data and generate meaningful insights.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
