Minimum Requirements:
  • Must meet one of the following educational requirements: Bachelor’s degree in the human services field; OR High school diploma or GED equivalent and certified as a peer support specialist or community health worker.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in a human services setting required.
  • Leadership experience or progressive responsibility preferred.
  • Valid Michigan Chauffeur’s Driver’s License required; candidates who do not have a chauffeur's license may still apply but must acquire one within 30 days of employment. Demonstrated ability to adhere to State of Michigan driving laws, evidenced by maintaining an insurable driving record in accordance with CCH commercial auto insurance carrier required.
  • Must meet all Continuing Education Requirements annually.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with staff and others involved in the delivery of services.
  • Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations occurring as a result of workloads and/or deadlines.
  • Experience in managing multiple tasks simultaneously and meeting critical deadlines.
  • Must maintain confidentiality related to treatment in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
