Intensive Outreach Navigation Peer Recovery Support Specialist

About the Role:

As an Intensive Outreach Navigation Peer Recovery Support Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in helping individuals with serious mental illness achieve housing stability and recovery. You'll work closely with these individuals, providing peer support, connecting them to resources, and advocating for their needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Housing Navigation: Assist individuals in finding safe and affordable housing options that meet their needs.
  • Peer Support: Provide ongoing peer support to help individuals maintain their housing and progress in their recovery.
  • Community Partnerships: Build relationships with community partners to access resources and support for individuals.
  • Advocacy: Advocate for individuals' rights and needs, ensuring they receive the necessary services.
Qualifications:
  • Lived experience with mental illness and recovery
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid Oklahoma Driver's License and acceptable driving record
  • Certification as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS) or willingness to obtain certification
