The IT Solution Architect - Supply Chain is responsible for building strong collaborative relationships across all Supply Chain business lines. The Senior Architect will be responsible for providing knowledge and expertise to Business Units and other Senior Architecture Directors, Solution Groups Leads, and technical leaders in identifying opportunities for technology solutions that support Intel's Strategy and operational goals.

We are seeking an architect with a strong track record of building end-to-end architectures to drive the technical foundation for Intel's dynamic business environment. This requires the ability to partner and collaborate across business groups while leading innovation and positive change. Individuals in this position have a broad understanding of supply chain business processes, ERP solutions, Planning and Procurement subject matter expertise, and experience working with multiple technologies, demonstrating the ability to work with users at all levels in the Supply Chain businesses. Devises strategies and programs for improving overall supply chain Architecture across the enterprise.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Contributes to establishing practices, standards, and governance for effective Architecture across the organization.
  2. Defines enterprise-wide practices for capabilities definition and complete solution requirements elaboration, incorporating concerns such as operational quality, governance and controls, maintainability, solution quality, and adoption.
  3. Documents detailed business flows and implements EA standards, documenting the flows in IT standard enterprise tools. Takes an active role in enterprise value stream portfolio investment decisions by assessing and rationalizing proposed enterprise capabilities.
  4. Develops and maintains overall solution capability roadmaps based on a situational awareness of overall business strategy, operational goals, and critical business challenges and opportunities.
  5. Ensures projects and proposals are well-formed and align with corporate strategic goals; functions as an expert resource to the business to answer or facilitate responses to business-related technology questions.
  6. Re-engineers key processes and systems in partnership with business users and capabilities, mapping to future-state vision.
  7. Leads and mentors other cross-functional team members in the development of architecture and analyst deliverables, understanding industry best practices/standards.
  8. Interacts with multiple technologists in the company to influence architectures and optimize/customize software offerings.
  9. Determines coding, development tools, validation, and standards compliance requirements. Collaborates with management, product owners, and project managers to evaluate feasibility of requirements and determine priorities for development. Performs pathfinding, surveys technologies, participates in standards committees, and presents at external and internal events.
  10. Demonstrates business thinking and highly strategic capabilities to define practical solutions that align with corporate strategy.
  11. Maintains a broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes, and capabilities.
  12. Exhibits strong process analysis and modeling skills, leading complex enterprise teams through business process integrations, converting business strategy into action-oriented objectives and measurable results.
  13. Applies architectural principles to business solutions, showcasing exceptional communication skills to effectively convey information at all levels of the organization, including written and verbal communication, visualizations, and senior management presentations.
  14. Acts as a team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others and move toward consensus.
  15. Possesses Technical and Data Architecture understanding, TCO Management.
  16. Defines software application architecture across client, cloud, or enterprise.
  17. Makes high-level design choices focused on manageability, scalability, usability, resiliency, availability, security, and/or safety for the software structure, protocols, and algorithms.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 9+ years of experience in:

  1. Tech Lead or Solution Architect roles.
  2. 5+ years of Supply Chain Planning, Order to Cash, Sourcing, Fulfillment and Transportation, delivery systems, and factory integration experience.
  3. 5+ years of experience with Blue Yonder ESP, Blue Yonder IBP, Blue Yonder OP, SAP IBP, SAP ECC, S4/Hana.

Ideal candidates would also have experience in:

  1. Forecast To Stock, S4/HANA, EWM, SAP Ariba CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management).
  2. Spend management.
  3. Sourcing and procurement.
  4. Transportation and delivery systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Technical and Data Architecture understanding, TCO Management.
  2. Architecting and configuring interactive UIs, workbenches, exceptions, and reports based on specific business requirements.
  3. Supply Chain Master Data.
  4. Azure Data hub, SAP IBP, Blue Yonder (BY, JDA, i2) or other planning tools.
  5. Architecting and implementing sourcing and procurement planning solutions leveraging SAP ECC, S4, Ariba, and collaboration tools like E2Open, Opentext, scenario KPI comparison, creating and managing business measures, and other business requirements.
  6. Agile experience.
  7. Supply Chain Master Data, PLM, MRP.
  8. Planning Inventory for Internal Subcontract Manufacturing, scenario KPI comparison, creating and managing business measures, and other business requirements.

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys, and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting, and delivery of Web content and services.

Working Model

This role is available as a fully home-based position and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model, which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
