Technical Sales Specialist

Description
- Continuously seek opportunity for new customers or current customer expansion through cold calls, research, and customer visits.
- Responsible for initial customer contact and establishing if we are able to assist with their needs.
- Gain full understanding of customers’ requirements and needs through collaboration with Engineering, Operations, and Customers.
- Communicate Sales opportunities with Sales Lead and Sales Team.
- Build, maintain, and expand customer relationships.
- Continually work with Sales Team and production to discover more effective and efficient processes.
- Be knowledgeable about Perfecto’s current production capabilities.
- Demonstrate excellent communication in person, through email, and on the phone.
- Clearly communicate technical information to technical and non-technical users via email.
- Maintain communication with and provide guidance to the Sales Coordinator as needed.
- Demonstrate excellent organization and time management skills.
- Alignment with our Core Values.
- Provide exceptional customer service by exceeding our customers’ expectations.
- Provide customers and Sales Team with problem-solving expertise.
- Travel is necessary for this position (10-20%).
Requirements
- 5 years of Technical Sales and/or Engineering experience.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Machining, Engineering, or related business field or 5 years’ relevant experience.
- Maintain and improve technical knowledge through continued education and training.
- Quickly learn new systems and software as needed.
