Architectural Promotions Specialist - Washington DC

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and execute effective product promotion strategies to grow business for Modernfold.
  • Identify, initiate, build, and maintain relationships with key architects, designers, and product specifiers through demand creation activities including:
    • product presentations,
    • library updates,
    • lunch & learns,
    • face-to-face calls,
    • lead tracking,
    • conferences and other events.
  • Manage a viable target account list to include priorities and goals, as directed by management, and utilized for weekly call planning.
  • Provide the target audience with specification documents, literature, and related marketing collateral to generate and secure product specifications.
  • Plan and execute promotional programs to introduce and integrate product launches and updates.
  • Actively participate in local/national trade shows, industry associations, local trade associations, professional organizations, and industry shows/events.
  • Create and maintain database records as required by management.
  • Effectively partner with local market distributors for key opportunities.
  • Regular, overnight travel required to manage the assigned territory.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong entrepreneurial leadership are necessary
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated, organized and disciplined
  • Rigid contact management and excellent relationship-building skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as Architectural Product Consultant or Architectural Sales Representative
