Responsibilities

  1. Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
  2. Actively engage with customers to understand their needs, offer product recommendations
  3. Stay informed about current products, trends and promotions to provide up-to-date information to customers
  4. Work towards visual merchandising guidelines set for the store
  5. Train and develop team members
  6. Maintain store standards throughout the store, including the back-of-house
  7. Monitor all store operations, including back-of-house
  8. Liaise with Head Office teams for all business updates in the absence of the Store Manager
  9. Daily monitoring of the team's KPIs
  10. Motivate and drive the team
  11. Support the store manager in recruiting for the store
  12. Be a role model for the brand and maintain personal presentation standards and that of teams
  13. Maintain store health and safety regulations
  14. Ensure all products are properly tagged with accurate pricing and product information
  15. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point of sales system, handling cash, credit cards and other forms of payment
  16. Close and open the store, as well as set up the cash register
  17. Support with inventory management and organization of stockroom
  18. Replenish the shop floor as and when necessary
  19. Communicate daily needs of store and team with the store manager
  20. Hold regular one-to-one meetings with team members to manage and maintain performance

Requirements

  1. Highly motivated
  2. Interest in fashion
  3. Target driven
  4. Experience in customer service, retail preferred
  5. Ability to interact with customers in a loud and often busy environment
  6. Ability to stand for long periods and engage in repetitive activities
  7. Ability to lift in excess of 50 pounds
  8. Ability to climb ladders and use a stepping stool
  9. Flexible to work weekends and evenings
  10. Must be eligible to work in the US
  11. Proficient in English, written and spoken
